face the life Chapter 4

Chapter 4

A Battle for Belonging

After the incident at the football field, Thunder’s life took an unexpected turn. The police officer, Officer Reed, had spoken to Coach Thompson, emphasizing the importance of player safety and inclusion. Reluctantly, the coach agreed to let Thunder back on the team, but it was clear that his acceptance came with a heavy dose of reluctance.

“The only reason you’re here is because of the police,” Coach Thompson muttered one day during practice, his tone laced with sarcasm. Thunder felt a mix of relief and frustration; he was grateful to be back but wished it hadn’t taken such drastic measures.

The Match

As the season progressed, the team reached the nearest finals of the local championship. The stakes were high, and Coach Thompson was determined to win the cup. The whole town buzzed with excitement, and the atmosphere was electric. Everyone knew that winning would not only bring pride but also a sense of accomplishment to the team.

In the days leading up to the final match, Thunder trained harder than ever. He wanted to prove to the coach and his teammates that he deserved to be there. He practiced tirelessly, honing his skills and building his confidence. His teammates began to notice his dedication and started to rally around him, offering encouragement and support.

Finally, the day of the pre-exam as the team struggle for staying in the اFootball League arrived. The match would take place at the other town’s main stadium, where hundreds of fans gathered to cheer for their teams. Thunder’s heart raced as he stepped onto the field, the energy palpable. He looked up at the stands, spotting his mother, Mrs. Parker, waving a handmade banner that read: “Go, Thunder!”

A Crucial Decision

As the game began, it became clear that Coach Thompson had a strategy in mind. He placed the strongest players on the field, and Thunder remained on the sidelines, watching with a mix of anticipation and disappointment. He had hoped to play a more significant role, especially in such an important match.

As the minutes ticked by, the tension grew. The score was tied, and both teams fought fiercely for control of the game. Each time the whistle blew, Thunder felt his heart sink a little more. He wanted so desperately to contribute, to show everyone that he was more than just a backup player.

Finally, with only fifteen minutes left in the game, Thunder could no longer hold back. He approached Coach Thompson, determination in his eyes. “Coach, please let me play! I can help us win,” he pleaded.

Coach Thompson shook his head. “No, Thunder. This is too important. I can’t risk it. If we don’t win, we’ll lose everything we’ve worked for.”

Thunder felt a surge of frustration but stood his ground. “I’ve trained hard. I want to be a part of this team. I can make a difference!”

The coach’s face hardened. “You’re not ready. If you insist on playing, I’ll call the police again.”

The Insistence

Thunder’s heart sank at the threat. He had worked so hard to earn his place, but he knew he couldn’t back down. “I’m not afraid of that. I just want to play!” he shouted back, his voice filled with emotion.

Seeing the determination in Thunder’s eyes, the coach sighed, realizing he was losing control of the situation. The tension on the field was palpable, and the crowd began to murmur. Coach Thompson knew that if he pushed Thunder away now, he might lose the support of the players who had begun to rally around him.

“Fine,” the coach snapped, exasperated. “You can play, but this better not backfire on me.”

Thunder felt a rush of excitement and fear as he put on his jersey and joined his teammates on the field. The whistle blew, and the game resumed.

The Game Intensifies

As Thunder stepped onto the field, the adrenaline surged through him. He quickly found his position and focused intently on the game. The ball zipped around, and he felt the thrill of being part of the action. With each pass and tackle, he grew more confident.

The minutes dwindled down, and the score remained tied. It was do-or-die time, and Thunder knew he had to make an impact. He remembered all the training sessions, all the support from his teammates, and most importantly, the encouragement from his mother.

With only five minutes left, Thunder saw an opening. He sprinted toward the goal, calling for the ball with his vibrated sound.  His teammate, Jake, who had been instrumental in supporting him, passed it to him. The other team knew he was from pupil who has special case, they let the player pass the ball, they took it and ran towards the other Goal, but the defender could prevent the Goal.

Thunder fell crying, the ambulance car took him while the fans of the team blamed the coach to let that player paly that match.
